Seacapes Photography Workshop
Together with Mark Dobson from Wild seascapes, we have put together a 7 night workshop from our shared love of coastal and wave photography. Mark’s in depth knowledge of remote and secluded locations in St Ives will mean we will visit some of the finest and often unknown locations around South West Cornwall. It can feel like being at the tip of the world; dramatic, rugged and beautiful.
Each day will be planned out to give you the best opportunity for creating your own fabulous images.
Winter months in St Ives are fantastic for dramatic light conditions and big waves. It is also a quiet time in Cornwall so we will have our choice of incredible and quiet spots. You can see Mark’s beautiful images on instagram at or his website www.wildseascapes.co.uk
YOUR ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation within two self catering luxury lodges within the newly refurbished Una resort in Carbis Bay, Cornwall. Each participant will have their own double en suite room within two 4 bedroom lodges.
The resort has a spa, jacuzzi, steam room and swimming pool, gym. The restaurant on site, Una Kitchen, is a Mediterranean-inspired brasserie and bar that’s open from breakfast to early dinner.
YOUR TUTORS
MARK DOBSON
Mark is a full time professional photographer living on the West coast of Cornwall. The ocean is at the heart of Mark’s photography and living by the coast in one of the UK’s most beautiful places it is hardly surprising. His images are filled with a sense of a real understanding of the sea and his passion is searching for the best light and conditions with which to portray the feeling of being by the sea.
Mark leads workshops round Cornwall when the conditions are at their best, in the winter months. You can see his beautiful images on his instagram page
